Fleetwood got off to a strong start this season, losing just one of their first nine league matches. However, Charlie Adam’s men have slipped recently, suffering two consecutive defeats as they head into their clash at Rodney Parade.

The Fishermen boast a solid away record, having picked up 10 of their 16 points on the road. A highlight of their season was a stunning 6-2 win over Walsall, the most goals scored by any team in a league match this season.

A key player to watch for Fleetwood is record-breaking forward Ronan Coughlan. The Irishman joined the club in January 2024 from sister club Waterford FC and has since scored eight goals in 25 appearances, with four of those coming this season, making him the Cods' top scorer.
