PRE-SEASON TOUR PLANS CONFIRMED

The Club are pleased to confirm that the squad will travel to Poland on a pre-season tour, ahead of the upcoming 2016/17 EFL campaign.

The playing squad will travel out to Poland on 10th July, staying in Lubin and training at Zaglebie Lubin FC Training Grounds over the course of their stay.

While in Poland, the team will play two pre-season friendlies. On Wednesday 13th July the Exiles will take on Polish side KS Polkowice at the KS Pollowice Stadium, the kick-off for this match is 5pm.

The second friendly will see County take on Czech Republic Premier League side  FC Hradec Králové on Saturday 16th July at the Walbrzych Football stadium, the kick-off for this fixture is 11am.

The tour will be sponsored by Leisuretime, who will be providing the buses for the trip.

Manager Warren Feeney believes the tour will be a crucial part of the preparations for the new season and will help the squad bond further in preparation for the long season ahead.

"I'm delighted that the Club and the Board have backed us in organising this tour."

"The trip will be a great opportunity to get all the players together, which will be a great benefit to us with all the new faces that have come in over the course of the summer."

"Getting pre-season preparations right is crucial, as it is an important time to get your organisation done before the start of the season."

"The squad will be undertaking intense training sessions while out in Poland and will benefit from the two games planned out there. Pre-season is all about getting the players fit and prepared for the coming season and I'm sure this tour will provide that opportunity."
