Newport County AFC are pleased to announce a new partnership with network3sixty CIC.

network3sixty are a new start-up Community Interest Company (CIC), based in Cwmbran and providing a ‘one- stop shop’ for residents across the NP postcode area who need any works carried out at their homes.

County Commercial Manager James Watts said, “We are extremely pleased to announce a new partnership agreement with network3sixty."

“After discussions with the organisation, we could instantly see a host of mutual benefits in our agreement, especially the opportunity of working together to increase awareness of Newport County AFC out to the extended communities, across Newport and the surrounding areas.

“We felt strongly that both organisations can achieve common objectives within this partnership in relation to engaging and developing stronger links with the wider communities, something which is aligned nicely to our County in the Community strategy."

"network3sixty owner, Ian Hopkins, is a lifelong County fan, so it was a great opportunity for us to give a little back to our supporters also, especially when setting out on a new venture”

As the start of the agreement, network3sixty have provided full kit sponsorship to new signing Ben Tozer, and will provide ongoing financial and operational support to the football club going forward.

New signing Ben Tozer, said, “It is great that a local business with a strong charitable and community ethos have chosen to sponsor my playing kit, elements which are really important to me as a person.”

“Hopefully this can inspire us as a team to be successful this coming season, and go some way to giving a little back to the fans and the local community within Newport and beyond”.

network3sixty managing director, Ian Hopkins said “I am really grateful to James and the board of directors in establishing this connection between ourselves and the football club.

“The club has been a massive part of mine and my families lives, and I am certain that this relationship will be really beneficial to us all."

"network3sixty is all about providing financial and physical support within the local communities in which we operate, support generated through the provision of repairs, maintenance and project works to residents within the old county of Gwent essentially, a real ‘one-stop shop’ for anything in relation to improving your home."

“We will work closely with the football club in order to develop and deliver combined awareness campaigns in all we do, which will hopefully get more new fans through the gate at Rodney Parade, and see a few more County shirts on the youngsters across the area."

“Welsh football is on a real high, and the whole area is buzzing from the impact of the Wales national team success in the Euro’s, so we hope to build on this."

“Hopefully new signings like Ben, will bring some on-field success to the football club this season, especially after a difficult campaign last time out, and naturally we will be watching him and the team perform closely during the upcoming season.

“Our senior professional football club play a massive part within the wider community and it is this spirit that network3sixty will tie into as we deliver our services and local engagement”.

County have agreed to provide a generous 10% discount at the club shop for all new members of network3sixty, as part of their benefits package for new memberships.
