Recap all of the action from our pre-seaosn encounter with Forest Green Rovers.
The Exiles headed to the New Lawn in their penultimate fixture of the pre-season and Manager Warren Feeney took the opportunity to field a strong side against National League outfit Forest Green Rovers.
The hosts took the lead in the fourth minute when a deep diagonal cross was launched into the County area and Christain Doidge was able to glance a header into the path of Rhys Murphy who slotted the ball past Joe Day.
County responded with a couple of half-chances, the best of which fell to Jack Compton, who received the ball inside the Forest Green area but from a tight angle the winger couldn't keep his shot from rising over the bar.
On the twenty-minute mark, County hit the home side on the break, which eventually resulted in Mark Randall finding the space to launch a shot on goal but his effort took a slight deflection which took a lot of the power out of his shot and Sam Russell was able to claim the ball on the ground.
The Exiles managed to bring the scores back level when a clipped cross by Mark Randall found Marlon Jackson, who jumped well and emphatically headed the ball home.
Five minutes prior to the break a corner from the left found Mark Randall who hit a beautifully struck volley from twenty-five yards out that had to be pushed away by the hosts 'keeper.

Forest Green were ahead moments later when a deep cross aimed at the far post was met by the lurking Matt Tubbs who was able to glance a header inside the post.
The hosts extended their lead when Kieffer Roofe cut inside from the right and found space to drive a powerful shot that crept into the far corner.
With just six minutes left on the clock, a Jennison Myrie-Williams cross was deemed to have struck the hand of Ben Jefford and the referee awarded a penalty. Myrie-Williams stepped up and calmly dispatched the spot-kick.
