Newport County extend loan of Kyle Hudlin

Newport County is pleased to have extended the loan of Kyle Hudlin from Huddersfield Town for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.

Hudlin, who stands at a towering 6ft 9in and one of the tallest professional footballers in the world, will continue to link-up with the Exiles for the rest of the campaign after joining the club on a short-term loan deal on deadline day back in August.

The 24-year-old signed for the Terriers on a two-year deal in July 2022 after making a name for himself in non-league at Solihull Moors.

His first professional goal for Huddersfield came on his debut in a 3–2 defeat to Middlesbrough in the EFL Cup in August 2023.

He went on to make nine league appearances for the club before joining League One club Burton Albion on loan in January 2024 for the remainder of the season, making five league appearances.

During his short tenure at Rodney Parade so far, the forward has scored four goals in 20 appearances, netting his debut strike against Salford City in October.
