Head Coach Nelson Jardim is determined for his side to bounce back following their FA Cup exit as they prepare for a crucial League Two clash against Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park.
After securing four points from their last two league matches, including back-to-back clean sheets, County are looking to build on that momentum when they make the trip north.
Despite last week’s disappointing FA Cup exit at the hands of League One Peterborough United, Jardim is confident his team will recover.
“Tomorrow is all about bouncing back from last weekend’s FA Cup defeat,” Jardim said.
“It’s always tough when you don’t get the result you want, but we’ve had a good week of training and the players are ready to go.
“We’ve got a tough couple of games coming up. We still have Reading to come up in the Bristol Street Motors trophy next week, but the full focus is on league until then.
“We know that Tranmere are a big club, a good club with big crowds.
“They have got a good manager with a great CV as well. I met him when he was at Scunthorpe and since then he has done very well in his career.
“I think Tranmere are also in a similar transition to us, new players and trying to find a way to be successful in League Two.
“Tomorrow is going to be a tough game for us. We know they want to bounce back and so do we, so we’ll see what happens because I’m sure both sides will be well prepared for the game.
“Both sides will fight and try to win.”
He added: “The Gillingham game was a great blueprint for us. We defended well, showed a strong mentality, and got the result we needed.
“We know what we’re capable of when we’re at our best, but we take each game as it come
"Since then, we’ve had a good draw against Fleetwood so there is a lot of positivity going into the game.”
