Martin Coy will have the whistle when Newport County travel to Tranmere Rovers on Saturday afternoon (3pm).
The experienced referee regularly oversees games in both League One and League Two and is set to officiate his first County match of the season. He previously refereed the Exiles’ 1-1 home draw with Barrow AFC last September.
So far this season, Coy has refereed eight games across League One and League Two, with his most recent assignment being Bolton Wanderers 2-1 home win over Burton Albion on Matchday 12.
Joining Coy on the officiating team will be Danny Jarvis and Steven Rushton as assistant referees, with Niall Felton serving as the fourth official.
