Simon Mather will be the man in the middle for this afternoon’s clash against Swindon Town at the County Ground.
The experienced EFL official is regular at League One and League Two level, as well as in competitions such as the Carabao and Emirates FA Cup.
The last time Mather took charge of a County fixture came back in April 2023, when he was the man in the middle for Newport’s 3-1 away victory against Doncaster Rovers.
Most recently, Mather took charge of Huddersfield Town’s 3-0 home win against Morecambe in the Carabao Cup.
His officiating team for today will include Marc Wilson and Ryan Williams as assistant referees, with Sam Mulhall serving as the fourth official.
