Thomas Parsons will be the man in charge when Newport County host Chesterfield FC on Friday night (8pm).
The experienced referee regularly oversees games in both League One and League Two and is set to officiate his first County match of the season.
He previously refereed the Exiles’ 2-0 away victory over Wimbledon at the Cherry Red Records Stadium last March.
So far this season, Parsons has refereed five League Two fixtures in total, with his most recent assignment being Colchester United's 0-0 draw with Carlisle United at the JobServe Community Stadium on October 5.
Joining Parsons on the officiating team will be Grant Taylor and Adam Ricketts as assistant referees, with Elliot Swallow serving as the fourth official.
