Newport County return to Sky Bet League Two action when they host Accrington Stanley tomorrow afternoon (3pm). 

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the game.

Tickets for our clash with Stanley are still now available to purchase online. The Ticket Office will be open on matchday from 10am until 15 minutes into the game.

GETTING TO RODNEY PARADE

By Train

The nearest train station to Rodney Parade is Newport (Gwent).  It is not far way and should take less that 10 minutes to walk. 

Leave the train station via the entrance/exit at “Platform 1”. 

Cross the road (so that you are outside Admiral Insurance) and turn left. 
Follow the pavement.  It will eventually curve left (past Delilah’s Café and Bar).  This will bring you out near the Market Arcade and Popadom’s Indian Restaurant. 
Turn left and follow the road to the end. 

At the end of the road you will see a staircase on your right.  Go down the stairs and through the underpass which will bring you out at Clarence Street Bridge. 

Go over the bridge and take your first right onto Rodney Road. 

By Car

From the West: 
Take Junction 26 from the M4 
Take 3rd Exit off Roundabout onto Malpas Road 
Take 2nd Exit off Roundabout 
at Next Roundabout take 1st Exit across River Usk 
at Next Traffic Lights bear Right onto Chepstow Road 
Take 1st Right onto Cedar Road 
Take 1st Right onto Corporation Road 
Take 1st Left onto Grafton Road 
Rodney Parade is on your Left.


From the East: 
Take Junction 25a from the M4 
Take 1st Exit off Roundabout onto Heidenheim Way 
Take 1st Exit off Flyover 
Take 2nd Exit off Roundabout 
at Next Roundabout take 1st Exit across River Usk 
at Next Traffic Lights bear Right onto Chepstow Road 
Take 1st Right onto Cedar Road 
Take 1st Right onto Corporation Road 
Take 1st Left onto Grafton Road 
Rodney Parade is on your Left.

 

ARRIVING AT RODNEY PARADE 

Supporters are encouraged to arrive at Rodney Parade in good time, so as to enter the ground as easily as possible ahead of kick-off at 3pm. The gates at RP will open at 2pm - an hour before kick-off against Accrington.

 

PRIOR TO KICK-OFF

Join County in the Community in the marquee prior to kick-off tomorrow where young Exiles can take part in a variety of activities. Those activities include table football and other sporting activities.

Fans can also meet Spyty the Dog and first-team players. 

 

PARKING 

There are several public car parks in the City Centre within a short walking distance of Rodney Parade. 

Please note: there is no parking inside Rodney Parade.

 

FOOD & DRINK 

There are food kiosks and burger stands located in the stadium concourse where you can purchase food and drink. However, please note that any purchases within the stadium are card only.

 

CLUB SHOP

Our VX3 club shop is conveniently located in Friars Walk Shopping Centre in the City Centre, just a 5-10 minute walk from Rodney Parade.

Additionally, we have a smaller club shop next to the ticket office at Rodney Parade, ideal for matchday shopping. Please note that the Rodney Parade shop can get busy on matchdays and may feel crowded for those who prefer more spacious environments.

 

PICK UP A MATCHDAY PROGRAMME

No matchday experience would be complete without a match programme. Our official matchday programme ‘The Exile’ can be purchased from our dedicated sellers in the club shop, outside the stadium, and inside the ground. 

Programmes are priced at £2. 

 

HOW TO FOLLOW

If you’re not able to make it to the game at Rodney Parade we will be providing match updates across our social media channels throughout the afternoon, as well as post-match interviews.
