Newport County is pleased to announce that local company Newport Galvanizers has renewed its partnership with the club for season 24-25 as the official Away Shirt Sleeve Partner.
The Newport-based business is part of the Wedge Group, the largest hot-dip galvanizing organisation in the UK with 14 plants across the country and a history dating back over 150 years.
Its Llanwern plant also has a long history of supporting the local community and general manager Edward Saville was keen to extend their partnership with its local football club for a second season.
“Newport Galvanizers Ltd is proud and excited to once again support Newport County and we hope that in our small way we help ‘galvanize’ the team to success,” declared Edward.
The Newport Galvanizers’ Wedge logo will be proudly displayed on the sleeve of the club’s away shirt for the new campaign, together with LED advertising and a hospitality special for its Exiles-supporting workforce.
Newport County chairman Huw Jenkins was delighted to retain their support for a second season.
“Support from local businesses like Newport Galvanizers can be the lifeblood for clubs like ours,’’ said Huw.
“I know Edward and his team have done a lot of good work in the community supporting worthy causes and it is great to have them on board for another season. I’m looking forward to welcoming all their staff to the stadium again.
“They have also agreed to help us improve our disabled facilities at Rodney Parade, which we are extremely grateful for.’’

They can also provide a collection and delivery service with their own fleet of over 100 rigid and arctic vehicles.
