Cameron Evans’ brilliant strike against Crewe Alexandra is up for the League Two Goal of the Month award for September.
The defender netted is first-ever EFL goal in magnificent fashion as the Exiles defeated the Railwaymen 2-1 at Rodney Parade.
After a well worked attending move from left-to-right, Evans drove inside before angling a brilliant strike into the far top corner past the outstretched goalkeeper.
His goal is shortlisted alongside contenders by David McGoldrick, Gerard Garner and Charles Vernam.
