Alan Young will be the man in the middle for this afternoon’s clash with Sutton United (Monday, January 1, 3pm).
The experienced official is a regular at League One and Two level, last officiating when Barrow beat Crewe 3-1 at the Mornflake Stadium. Young has also featured at Championship level as acting Fourth Official when Southampton beat Swansea City 5-0 on Boxing day. Other notable clashes he has been involved in, include our 2-2 draw with Crawley Town at Rodney Parade last season, Crawley Town’s 2-1 win over Bristol Rovers in the EFL Trophy and finally Southampton’s 3-1 over Birmingham City.
His officiating team will consist of James Vallance (Assistant), Daniel Cook (Assistant) and Adrain Tranter (Fourth Official).
