Where will Newport fans be during the game?

Newport fans will be located in the Beyond Radio Stand, Block A. This is on the side of the stadium. Turnstiles will open at 6:30.

How do I get to the Mazuma Mobile Stadium?

Morecambe is one of the season’s longest trips, so Newport fans will need to make sure they have planned accordingly. These are the best ways to make it to Morecambe vs Newport County on Tuesday:

Car

The Mazuma Stadium is 222 miles from Rodney Parade, making it one of the longest away days of the year. The journey will take four to four and a half hours, so make sure you hit the road early.

Train

There are no direct trains from Newport to Morecambe. Those who decide to travel by train will need to find accommodation for the night, with no return trains after the full-time whistle.

Getting to Morecambe will take around 5 hours, with fans needing to change twice. First, you will need to take the train from Newport to Crewe; you must then swap to Lancaster before swapping again to Morecambe.

The latest train you can take to arrive before kick-off is 14:11. However, you might want to take the 13:03 in case of any delays or issues. There are warnings to expect delays in and around Manchester as a result of the Christmas markets, so be sure to factor this in.

If you reach Lancaster and are tired of trains, it is possible to take a 10-15 minute taxi from Lancaster station directly to the Mazuma Mobile Stadium.

Coach

The easiest way to get to Morecambe on Tuesday is by taking one of the official supporter's coaches arranged by the NCAFC Supporter’s Club.

Can I park near the stadium?

There is no parking available at the Mazuma Stadium. Morecambe’s fan guide recommends parking at the Westgate Primary School, which is around a 5-10-minute walk from the stadium. This is £5 per car, with limited spaces available. There may be some street parking available a little further away from the ground, though a lot of parking is for residents only.

How far is the train station to Morecambe FC?

The Mazuma Stadium is around a 25-30 minute walk from Morecambe train station. There are no public transport options available between the two. Given the cold weather, fans might want to consider taking a taxi, which should take around five to ten minutes, depending on traffic.

Where to eat and drink locally.

Morecambe is a popular town, and you will find a good selection of pubs and restaurants if you have time to explore the town and the seafront. The town has a particularly good selection of fish and chips shops.

The Hurley Flyer pub outside the stadium is a popular option, but fans should note that they may not accept visiting fans wearing colours. We recommend contacting the venue beforehand if you plan to eat.

Of course, food and drink are also served in the ground up until half-time.

Last time out

Our last game against Morecambe was when we visited the Mazuma Stadium in the 2021/22 FA Cup. Aaron Wildig, now lining up for us week in, week out, scored the only goal of the game, meeting a cross from Callum Jones at the back-post to fire past Joe Day and secure a 1-0 win.
