Newport County AFC are delighted to announce the arrival of Harry Charsley on an 18-month deal.
The 26-year-old centre midfielder, who can also play across the attacking positions, joins the Exiles from League One side Port Vale in a deal that is subject to EFL approval and International clearance.
After progressing through the ranks of Everton, Charsley joined Mansfield Town for his first link-up with County manager Graham Coughlan.
While at Mansfield, Harry helped the Stags to League Two safety as they finished the 2020-21 season 16th in League Two.
In January last year, Harry completed a switch to Port Vale and was part of the side that won League Two promotion via the Play-Off final last season, playing the final 25 minutes in the Wembley win.
On joining the Exiles, Harry said: “I’m delighted to get the move done, I’m really happy to be here.
“I’ve worked with the gaffer before and really enjoyed it, he works you hard, he’s an honest manager and demands a lot from his players but I really enjoyed working with him.
“I’m really excited and can’t wait to get going!
Welcome to Newport, Harry!
