EFL official Stephen Martin will be the man to take charge of Newport County’s clash with Forest Green Rovers on Tuesday, December 26 (3pm).
Martin predominantly referees at Championship level but has also officiated in both League One and Two in recent seasons. He has taken charge of 11 games this campaign distributing 64 cards, 63 yellow and one red.
Notable games the Referee has been involved in include Leeds' recent 4-0 victory over Ipswich, Birmingham City’s 1-0 win over Cardiff City and closer to home, The Exiles victory over West Ham in the EFL Cup back in August, 2019.
His officiating team will consist of Andrew Fox (Assistant), Ravel Cheosiaua (Assistant) and Jason Richardson (Fourth Official).
