On Saturday the 22nd of April, we travel to the Eco-Power Stadium to play Doncaster Rovers in SkyBet League Two.
After coming out on the wrong side of a 2-1 defeat to Mansfield Town last time out, County will be looking for a reply in the form of three points as they travel to Doncaster on Saturday. Doncaster will also be looking for this outcome, after losing 1-0 to Stevenage in the week. Despite County’s misfortune with the scoreline, Manager Graham Coughlan was pleased with his team’s performance and thought that both teams put on a show that was, top of league two standard.
Looking ahead to Doncaster, Gaffer, Graham Coughlan said “They (Doncaster Rovers) are a really good club, let’s be honest, they’re probably in a false position, a false league, but look reality has them where they are.” He added “It’s a great club, solid fanbase, real good people, great facilities.”
Danny Schofield said in his pre-match press conference “It’s fight… our standards, our behaviour need to be the highest level, there’s no other way to do it, we’ve got to work with the players that we’ve got available for selection, we need to keep everyone together, fighting, first and foremost, and competing to the highest level possible and we want to win football games.”
Who will come out on top of the battle at the Eco-Power stadium and take all three points on Saturday?
We are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow in fine voice Exiles, safe travels to all that are making the 388-mile round trip!
