WELLBEING WEDNESDAY: August 3

It's Wednesday! And at Newport County that means we're on hand to give you some helpful hints to help your wellbeing for the week.

Wednesday 3rd August - It's National Play Day! Go out and enjoy the summer holidays with your children or grandchildren and have some fun. Be that playing at the park, playing a board game, having a kick about in the back garden or heading out on an adventure.

Thursday 4th August - spending time with your pets is good for the soul. They give us unconditional love. So cwtch up with the cat and your favourite book, or get some fresh air by connecting with nature and taking the dog for a walk

Friday 5th August - Reflect on the small goal that you set yourself last week. Did you achieve it? It's time to reflect. Do you feel proud of yourself for your achievement? What if anything would you do differently next time? Is there an opportunity to build on your goal? What would be the next step for you?

Saturday 6th August - out first home game of the season!! We can't wait to welcome you all back to Rodney Parade as the team take on Walsall. Good luck to James and the team in today's fixture.

Come and join in the fun in the marquee where there will be lots of family activities, and the fan zone will be showing the Liverpool v Fulham game for you to enjoy prior to kick off.

Sunday 7th August - do something creative. This could be something as simple as some mindful colouring, decorating, gardening, painting or baking

Monday 8th August - if you are over 55 and would like to join in with Extra Time, then please come along to the session at Rodney's Bar at Rodney Parade. For more information, please contact Lauren.daniels@countyinthecommunity.co.uk

Tuesday 9th August - Routine is important when you are struggling with your well-being. Take some time today to plan your week ahead, what you will be doing and when, and plan in how you will achieve your new goal that you set for yourself on Friday.
