Newport County AFC will take on Llanelli Town in the first round of the 2021/22 Nathaniel MG Cup.
The Exiles, who are joined by Denbigh Town as the two wildcard entries for this season’s competition, were place in the southern section of the draw, which took place on Thursday evening.
County were set to play in the cup for the first time last term before the Football Association of Wales’ National League Board opted to cancel the competition due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
The Exiles' first-round clash against Undy Athletic was subsequently postponed, but they will now play their first game of the competition against Undy's JD Cymru South rivals Llanelli at Stebonheath Park.
The tie is scheduled to take place on Saturday 17th July.
