After three years with the Club, Dan Butler will leave Rodney Parade and join Peterborough United upon the expiration of his contract at Newport County AFC this month.
Dan Butler has opted not to sign a contract extension with the Exiles and instead will move to Peterborough United, plying his trade in League One next season.
Following the departure of Dan Butler, Manager Michael Flynn said: "Dan is one of or if not the best professional I have worked with, I would have loved to have kept him but he deserves this move and he goes with my full blessing. Not only will Dan be lost on the pitch but off it as well through his amazing work within the Community."
