It’s Half Term this week in South Wales and what better way could there be to celebrate than with our third Clwb Spytty fixture against Carlisle this Saturday 2nd March.
Clwb Spytty was introduced in October to replace Junior Exiles and Junior Trust Membership and seeks to engage our young supporters up until the age of 12. For just £5 a season, as well as four FREE games for members per season, other benefits include:
- Welcome letter from Spytty the Dog
- Autograph book to get those signatures of your heroes
- Priority ticket for premium club fixtures
In addition to the above, some members were chosen to be mascots at the recent 5th Round FA Cup fixture against Manchester City, the largest publicised game in the Club’s recent history.
Membership packs are available at the Club Shop, located in the Kingsway Shopping Centre where you will receive your welcome pack instantly; alternatively, you can order your pack through the online Club Shop.
As it is Half Term we have organised for a training session on Friday to be made available to Clwb Spytty Members (as well as Trust Members that are Silver members and above).
This will commence at 11am at Newport Stadium where the heroes from this seasons campaign will be put through their paces by Manager Michael Flynn and his coaching staff.
Of course Spytty the Dog will be there causing the usual mayhem and has organised a special competition for his followers.
Attend the training session, with a parent or guardian, bring your membership card along so we can put your name and age on it and you will be in with a chance of being one of two mascots chosen to lead the teams out on Saturday.
As the fixture on Saturday is a Clwb Spytty fixture you will need to also use your membership cards to claim free ticket to the game (and first adult’s ticket for £10), this needs to be done before 5pm on Friday March 1st from the Club Shop. Please note the tickets will not be available at the training session.
The fourth Clwb Spytty fixture will be on Good Friday for the visit of Bury and that fixture will again include some exclusive opportunities for members along with another two members having the chance to be mascots for the game*. Further details will be announced at the start of March.
*Members picked as Clwb Spytty Members already this season will not have an additional opportunity this season.
