Rhys Taylor makes loan switch to Wrexham

Rhys Taylor joins Wrexham on loan…

The goalkeeper will link up with the Wrexham squad at training today, ahead of their fixture against Barrow at the Racecourse on Saturday.

Rhys, who joined County back in May, has made one appearance for the Exiles this season, playing in our Johnstone’s Paint Trophy clash against Swindon, that was concluded with a penalty-shootout.

On confirming Rhys’ move North, manager John Sheridan said, “He is too good to be sitting on the bench and not playing football”.

“Financially it enables me to help build on other areas, and I think that Rhys is too good to be a number two”.

“I have had a chat with Rhys and he is all for the move”.

The loan agreement will see Rhys stay with the North-Wales outfit until January. During his time with Wrexham Rhys will take part in their fixtures against Torquay and Gateshead, as well as facing his former club Macclesfield Town.

We would like to wish Rhys all the best during his time with Wrexham.
