Lewis Webb is a Newport-born goalkeeper who rejoined his hometown club, Newport County, with a wealth of experience and a proven track record at both club and international levels. At 23 years old, Webb brings a blend of youthful energy and maturity, having honed his skills through a diverse and impressive career trajectory.

Webb began his football journey in the youth systems of Cardiff City and Newport County before making his senior debut with Merthyr Town in 2018. His standout performances at Penydarren Park earned him a scholarship move to Swansea City, where he flourished in the U18 setup and secured his first professional contract in 2019. His development continued as he progressed through Swansea's U23 side and even broke into the first-team squad by the end of the 2019-20 season, earning a long-term contract extension in December 2020.

In January 2022, Webb gained valuable experience with a loan move to Shelbourne in the League of Ireland Premier Division, where he made seven starts under the management of Damien Duff. He later returned to Wales, playing a crucial role for Caernarfon Town during the 2023-24 season, making 35 appearances in the Cymru Premier and helping the team secure a spot in the European Conference League qualifiers.

On the international stage, Webb has represented Wales at both U18 and U21 levels. He made six appearances for the U18s before stepping up to the U21s, where his performance in a 2-0 win against Gibraltar during a Euro U21 Championship qualifier highlighted his talent and composure.
