Geoffroy Bony joined Newport County in November 2024, signing a contract until the end of the 2024-25 season. Born on 24 December 2004, the young forward brings with him a wealth of potential, having honed his skills in the youth academies of Swansea City and French side Nice.

Bony made his English Football League debut for the Exiles on 23 November 2024, coming on in a 0-0 draw against Notts County. Despite his age, his technical ability, vision, and sharp attacking instincts have quickly caught the eye.

As the son of former Ivory Coast international Wilfried Bony, Geoffroy has footballing pedigree running through his veins. His younger brother, Orphee Bony, is also part of the club’s development squad, adding another exciting chapter to the Bony family’s presence in the game.
