Season ticket prices confirmed for 2025-26 campaign

Newport County can confirm that season tickets for the new 2025-26 campaign will go on general sale from Tuesday, May 6.

The club will again provide an ‘Early Bird’ option for those looking to renew before a June 8 deadline to make a saving on their season ticket price.

After freezing season ticket prices for the 24-25 campaign, the club has been forced to increase prices slightly for the new season due to rising service costs across the board, in particular matchday staging costs following further rises in the minimum wage and employers NI.

However, the club has striven to keep the price increase to a minimum with a general rise for adults of just 60p per game*, with young adults and children increasing by less than 50p per game*.

Children under the age of six will continue to gain free entry. However, due to the low matchday attendance of those utilising the free under-6 season tickets in the past, which takes matchday seats out of operation, those who regularly attend with a child under-6 should contact the ticket office and we will endeavour to accommodate your request at the free price.

The prices have been agreed in conjunction with Supporters Trust consultation.

There will be no season tickets available for the North Terrace as was the case in season 24-25. Due to rising matchday staging costs, the North Terrace will not be open except where demand dictates. The disabled platform will operate as normal.

The senior age category will increase from 60 to 65 to bring it in line with the vast majority of clubs throughout the EFL. The club gave supporters 12-months’ notice of the change.

Those season ticket holders who reached the 60-year-old age category last season will not be affected by the age increase as the club will honour the previous agreement. Those senior ticket holders who were already on the senior rate last season will also qualify for the senior rate next season for any ‘renewals’, even if they are aged under 65.

For example, a supporter currently aged 61+ will remain on the senior rate as long as they are renewing. Any break in season ticket membership will mean new applications will be priced at the new 65+ senior rate.

There will also be a direct debit facility where supporters can spread the cost of their season ticket across May, June and July with three equal payments. Deadline for spreading the cost is May 21. After this date, full payment upfront will be required unless agreed with the ticket office.

Payments will be split into three equal instalments, with the following dates:

1st Payment: June 4

2nd Payment: July 4

3rd and Final Payment: August 4

Important Note: Direct Debit payments will appear under the account name 'WRU Gwent Rugby Limited' due to our joint ticketing system with Dragons RFC. If you have any questions regarding Direct Debit setup, please don't hesitate to contact the Ticket Office in person or email.

Supporters can take advantage of our ‘Early Bird’ discounts which will expire on Friday, June 8.

Early Bird adult season tickets will be priced at £399; seniors at £313; young adults at £170 and under-16s at just £70 (at £3.04 per game).

Current season ticket holders will have until Friday, June 8, to secure their existing seat before being released for general sale.

The club would urge supporters to utilise the online facility to renew and purchase. The club has been moving towards a digital-first policy over the last 12 months following the launch of our new club website and upcoming mobile app that will improve the ease of purchase.

The club would like to thank all supporters for their continued support and look forward to a bright future together.

Season tickets will go on sale from Tuesday, May 6, both online and in person at the ticket office.

Details of matchday ticket prices will follow during the close season.

All ticketing queries should be emailed to ticket.office@newport-county.co.uk with further updates to follow.
