Newport County will travel to Leyton Orient in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
The Exiles were handed the Gaughan Group Stadium assignment in the unseeded southern section of the draw, which was broadcast on Sky Sports News earlier this morning.
The last time both sides met was back in 2022-23 season, with the Exiles drawing 0-0 at home, and earning a 2-1 away victory in London.
The draw comes on the back of confirmation of the Exiles’ fixtures for the 2024-25 season, which will commence with a trip to Cheltenham Town on the opening weekend.
First-round ties will take place the week commencing August 12.
A date and kick-off details for the tie will be confirmed in due course.
