Sam Purkiss will be the man in the middle when Newport County host Walsall on Easter Monday (12.30pm).
The experienced EFL official is regular at League One and League Two level, and will officiate his first County match of the season.
The last time Purkiss took charge of a County game came coincidently against Walsall during the 2022-23 campaign - a 1-1 draw Poundland Bescot Stadium.
So far this season, Purkiss has officiated 19 games across several competitions, producing 84 yellows and four red cards.
His officiating team for the afternoon will consist of Kevin Howick and Declan O'Shea as assistant referees, with Dale Baines serving as the fourth official.
