Carl Brook will be the referee when Newport County travel to Walsall in League Two on Sunday afternoon (3pm).
The experienced EFL official regularly oversees matches both in League One and League Two, and will officiate his first County game of the season.
So far this campaign, Brook has officiated 18 matches across various competitions, producing 79 yellow cards and two reds.
His most recent assignment was overseeing Gillingham’s 2-2 draw with Cheltenham Town on December 20.
Brook will be assisted by Mark Cunliffe and Timothy Walker on Sunday, while Emmanuel Edet will serve as the fourth official.
