Sam Mulhall will be the man in charge when Newport County travel to Reading on Tuesday night (7pm).
The experienced referee regularly oversees games in the National League and the Bristol Street Motors Trophy, and is set to officiate his first County match of the season.
The last time Mulhall was involved in a County game came back in September, when he was the fourth official for our League Two trip to Swindon Town.
So far this season, Mulhall has refereed three National League fixtures in total and an Emirates FA Cup first round tie, with his most recent assignment being Cambridge United’s 1-0 win over Chelsea Under-21s on November 5.
Joining Mulhall on the officiating team will be Paul Lister-Flynn and Ciaran Fidler as assistant referees, with Damith Bandara serving as the fourth official.
