Stuart Morland will be the referee when Newport County host Notts County in League Two on Saturday afternoon (3pm).
The experienced official, who regularly oversees matches both in League Two and the National League, will officiate his first County game of the season.
So far this campaign, Morland has officiated 22 matches across various competitions, producing 116 yellow cards and seven reds.
His most recent assignment was overseeing Stoke City's Under-21s 5-3 win against Derby County in Premier League 2 on March 14.
Morland will be assisted by Richard Morris and Darren Wilding, while Daniel Flynn will serve as the fourth official.
