Declan Bourne will be the referee for this afternoon’s League Two match against Morecambe.
The experienced official regularly oversaw matches in both League One and League Two last season.
Bourne officiated Morecambe's 2-1 defeat to Gillingham on matchday eight last season, but today marks his first time officiating a Newport County match since 2020.
This season, the Englishman has officiated only one League Two fixture so far, the matchday two clash between Barrow and Port Vale.
His officiating team for today will include Paul Newhouse and Richard Wigglesworth as assistant referees, with Daniel Tracey serving as the fourth official.
