Scott Jackson will be the man with the whistle when Newport County travel to Colchester United on Saturday afternoon (3pm).
The experienced EFL official is a regular across League One and League Two, and will officiate his second County match of the season.
Jackson most recently took charge of the Exiles’ 3-1 home victory over Salford City in October, when goals from Kyle Hudlin, Aaron Wildig and Michale Spellman secured the win in NP19.
So far this season, Jackson has taken charge of 15 matches, with his most recent assignment being Bolton Wanderers home win over Huddersfield Town in the EFL Trophy. He has also has handed out 72 yellow cards followed by two reds.
Jackson will be assisted by Scott Williams and Ryan Head, while Colman O'Meara will be the fourth official.
