Where is the Poundland Bescot Stadium?

Poundland Bescot Stadium is located at:

Walsall

How do I get to Poundland Bescot Stadium?

The following are the best ways to get to Walsall on Sunday:

Car

The Bescot Stadium is around 98 miles from Rodney Parade. The trip should take fans around 2 hours to drive depending on traffic. The stadium is located off exit 9 (Wednesbury) on the M6.

Train

The Bescot Stadium is the only ground in League Two to have its own dedicated train station. Getting there from Newport is relatively straightforward. The trip will involve one or two changes, depending on when you take the train.

If you take the 11:01 from Newport, the trip will take 2 hours 25 minutes and involve one change. You would need to get off at Birmingham New Street at 12:45 and then take the 13:00 to the Bescot Stadium, which will get you there at 13:26.

If you have any further questions, information is available on the Transport for West Midlands website about reaching the Bescot Stadium.

Can I park near the stadium?

Yes. Car parking is available at the stadium at a cost of £8 per car, £13 per mini bus and £16 per coach, including disabled supporters. It also includes a dedicated away zone car park. You can find more information about parking options on Walsall’s official site.

Please note, payments for car parking are now CARD ONLY.

How far is the train station to Walsall?

As we’ve already mentioned, the station is dedicated to the Bescot Stadium, so fans will have to walk for about two minutes when they arrive. You can follow the signs to the away end upon exiting the train.

Where to eat and drink locally

Due to the Bescot Stadium's remote location, no pubs or restaurants are nearby. The Bescot Retail Park is the closest option for fans, which is around a ten-minute walk from the stadium. Here, you will find a McDonalds, and a few supermarkets.

Your best bet for food is to eat inside the stadium, with the away end having a kiosk serving food and drinks.

Please note that the Bescot is a cashless stadium, they will only be accepting card.
