Newport County is pleased to announce that vintage football kit retailer, Cardiff Classic Shirts, has renewed its partnership with the club for a second season. But this time under a new look.
Wales’ first dedicated vintage football shirt shop will be the official back of third shirt partner for season 2024-25.
To launch the new partnership the company will sport a rebranded Classic Shirts Cymru logo on a new Welsh-inspired third shirt, together with LED advertising, player and matchball sponsorship to help raise the company profile and awareness.
Based in the Pumping Station Antiques Centre in Cardiff, together with a strong online presence, thepartnership gives Exiles supporters the opportunity to acquire vintage match-worn classic shirts from the club's past, as well as Welsh international shirts and many more cherished football memorabilia items.
Daniel Rees, owner of Classic Shirts Cymru, commented: “Too many companies in the modern age take their customers for granted, and this name change is a reflection of what we want to be about.
“We took on board the feedback from last year and completely understand why some fans felt the way they did. We hope the name change and diversification of our websites and online offering represent our intentions to listen to what fans want, as without them, both us and the club are nothing.
