Newport County is delighted to offer supporters the chance to acquire the match worn MNDA charity kit from our triumph over Stockport County, a match day dedicated to the esteemed former player, Jason Bowen.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all the fans who generously donated to this noble cause, as well as to those who purchased this special kit. To bolster the funds raised, we have opted to auction off the match-worn kits, with all proceeds earmarked for Jason and his family, who will be present at the Salford City fixture on April 20 to receive the donation.
The match-worn shirts up for auction were donned by the following players: Jon Maxted, Nick Townsend, Nelson Sanca, Harry Charsley, Matt Bondswell, Seb Palmer-Holden, Matt Baker, Aaron Wildig, Shane McLoughlin, James Waite, Scott Bennett, Ryan Delaney, Will Evans, Lewis Payne, Kiban Rai, and Nathan Wood.
This will be fan’s last ever chance to purchase this match-worn shirt dedicated in support of the motor neurone disease association.
Also, included in the auction is a first team signed Emirates FA Cup match ball. This was used during the Exiles’ cup campaign this season which saw them reach the Fourth-Round proper against Manchester United.
The auction is scheduled to close on the 14th of April. Following the close of the auction the winners will be contacted regarding when they can collect their prized kit.
