Craig Hicks will be the man in the middle for Newport County's clash against Tranmere Rovers on Saturday afternoon.
The established official is a regular at League One and League Two level, and will officiate our penultimate home fixture of the season at Rodney Parade this afternoon.
The last time Hicks took charge of a County game came back in December, when he was the man in the middle for our Emirates FA Cup replay win over Barnet.
His most recent game as referee was Stevenage’s 1-0 home defeat to Leyton Orient on March 16. The last time Hicks took charge of a League Two fixture was a week prior, that being Doncaster Rovers’ 2-0 victory against Crewe Alexandra on March 9.
Across the campaign so far, Hicks has produced 95 cards (91 yellows, 4 reds).
His officiating team for today will consist of Samuel Fudge (Assistant), Thomas Staten (Assistant) and the Fourth official will be Oliver Spender.
