Newport County Striker Will Evans has been nominated for the EFL Sky Bet League Two player of the month award for his incredible performances throughout August.
Will Evans has impressed this season, surpassing his last seasons’ goal tally in just one month. Will has netted seven times in six appearances since the start of the season and has scored in every league game since we faced Doncaster back on the 12th of August.
His most notable finish this season came against Forest Green Rovers after just 12 seconds when Delaney headed the ball up field, to the striker, who controlled and blasted it past Daniels who stood little chance to keep it out.
Will, will be looking to add to his goal scoring streak this weekend as we head to Broadfield Stadium to face Crawley Town. Tickets are available here.
