Assistant manager Joe Dunne spoke to the local press after Newport County secured a 2-1 win over Colchester United at Rodney Parade.
Assistant gaffer Joe Dunne was 'delighted' with the side's performance against Colchester and to see his side come away from the clash with all three points: "I think it was a much deserved win," stated Dunne.
"Coming off the back of Saturday (defeat to Salford) and based on the dissapointment we felt, I think it was a deserved win.
"I thought both sides played their part. It was a really good league two game of football.
"I think overall from where we were, to the effort the lads put in against a side that scored five goals against top of the league on the weekend, It's a well deserved three points."
