After examination from medical professionals, the club can now issue an update on the extent of Josh Seberry's injury.
Josh Seberry went down in the 25th minute of the fixture at Meadow Lane after landing awkwardly when sliding to make an interception. Seberry recieved treatment from the pitchside physios and doctors for seven minutes before being stretchered off the pitch and to hospital.
It can now been confirmed that Seberry has broken his right fibula and is likely to undergo surgery depending on a final scan result.
Manager Graham Coughlan said "We contacted his family on Tuesday and reassured them that he is in good hands with our medical department.
"He is naturally devastated, as we all are, but he is in as good spirits as a player can be in that situation."
The club would like to offer their best wishes to Josh and wish him a speedy recovery.
