Former Newport County star Jason Bowen will be the special guest in the hospitality lounge for the visit of Stockport County on Saturday, November 25 (3pm).
The club has designated the game in support of the former striker and the charity MNDA.
Bowen, who was diagnosed with MND three years ago, will be the guest of honour in the Bisley Lounge for the League Two clash where the squad will wear a special ‘one-off’ kit to help raise funds for Jason, the charity and raise awareness of Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
The County legend spent four years with the Exiles from 2003-07 and quickly became a fans’ favourite after scoring 48 goals in 149 appearances.
“The support I have received from Newport County has been amazing,” said Jason. "I can’t thank the club enough and I’m looking forward to being back at Rodney Parade for the game.’’

The club, in conjunction with retail partner VX3, will donate up to £10 from every shirt sold to Jason towards his treatment costs, with 15 percent of all monies raised going to MNDA.
