Volunteers are the backbone of our club, giving us their valuable time to make the whole match-day a much more pleasant experience for all attending. They all have their own skills and attributes that can make someone’s day a lot better as well as bringing in income to the club.
We have volunteers helping in nearly every aspect of the match-day preparation, serving customers in the club-shop(s); selling programmes and 50/50 draw tickets; serving guests and clearing up the tables in hospitality; matchday announcements; photography/videography and commentary; preparing the ground and away ticket sales; presenting the pre-match entertainment warm ups; arranging the safety of our Disabled guests as well as looking after Spytty the Dog and other important support activities!
As well as helping others, volunteering has been shown to improve volunteers' wellbeing too. It’s human nature to feel good after helping someone out. Volunteering can also help you gain valuable new skills and experiences, and boost your confidence.
Volunteering at our club is also a great way to make new friends and looks great on your CV.
If you feel that you can volunteer some of your time on match-days and recieve a free match-day ticket in return, please let us know at joec@ncafctrust.org
