Newport County is delighted to announce that Rodney Parade will continue to be home for the Exiles after a lease extension was agreed with the Dragons RFC.
County has played at the historic stadium since 2012 and supporters can now look forward to more Sky Bet League Two football in the heart of the city after an extended lease was officially signed.
Newport County Director, Shaun Johnson, confirmed: “We are delighted to secure the lease extension with the Dragons. It’s a positive step for both parties and we would like to thank the Dragons for their continued support.

“There are huge synergies between the two clubs off the pitch and by working together we can both achieve great success in the future.’’
Welcoming the new agreement, Mark Jones, Managing Director at Dragons RFC, said: “We are pleased to announce the lease extension with Newport County and ensure that Rodney Parade continues to be the home of professional sport in the city.
