This evening Newport County will travel to Barnet for a round two replay in the Emirates FA Cup, this comes after Barnet rescued a late leveller at Rodney Parade via a Collinge strike.
The official has refereed at a range of levels throughout the EFL, last refereeing the Exiles back in October where he conducted the EFL Trophy clash between Newport County and West Ham U21.
Other notable fixtures he has been involved in include; AFC Wimbledon’s recent 5-0 win over Ramsgate in the FA Cup of which he was the designated Fourth official and higher up the pyramid QPR’s recent 4-2 victory against Stoke City.
Hicks’ team will consist of Andrew Hickman (Assistant), Gareth Viccars (Assistant) and the Fourth official will be Ben Atkinson
