Over 1,200 schoolchildren from across Gwent will descend on Rodney Parade this Friday morning as World Cup football fever continues to grip the country.
Wales face Iran in the second game of the group stages at 10am – looking to build on the 1-1 draw with USA in the opening game - and they will be cheered on by the next generation of fans from Newport.
The Football Fan Zone in Newport will move inside the stadium on this occasion as children pack the Bisley Stand to watch Rob Page’s team in action on big screens.
