The Smile Council and Supermarket chain ASDA combined to donate £1,000 to the Newport County Academy side to purchase equipment for the Young Exiles.
The cheque was presented to the Academy ahead of kick-off on Friday night.
ASDA donated £500 of the £1000 Cheque because of a Community's draw they held within the store which the Smile Council won.
The Smile Council have raised around £3500 over the years to help support the Newport County Academy and pledge they will do so for many years to come.
They would also like to thank all County supporters that support the club away from home as "If it wasn't for our great away supporters that travel away with us all around the country then we wouldn't be able to raise this money, so many thanks from the Smile Council Committee members for their continued support."
On the donation,Academy Manager Damien Broad said: "From myself and all involved with the Academy we would like to pass on our thanks to Chris, Asda and all the members and contributors to the Smile Council.
"Their efforts to raise money for the Academy every year is greatly appreciated and will go into supporting the players development by purchasing new equipment. We were delighted you could all join us at Friday night's game."
