Newport County's Findlay Coleman has won the Sports Personality of the Year award at his school, Chepstow High.
The midfielder signed scholar forms with the Exiles back in May and the award is a continuation of a fine summer for the teenager.
On Findlay winning the award, Newport County Academy manager said: "We are delighted that Finn has been recognised for his contributions to sport and been voted Sports Personality of the Year by all his peers at Chepstow High.
"Finn has recently joined our scholarship group and typifies the focus we put on having good all round young people in our Academy who not only excel in football, but also in their education and how they conduct themselves on and off the pitch.
"Finn has been recognised as a positive role model by his school and we hope others follow in his footsteps. Congratulations Fin!"
Bobby McKenzie-Black, YDP Phase Lead added:"Fin is a charismatic young man, who constantly upholds his own personal standards every day.
"It is to no surprise that he has recently received his Award from Chepstow High. I would like to personally congratulate Fin on receiving his Award.”
Congratulations, Fin from all at Newport County AFC!
