Newport County AFC are delighted to announce the appointment of Matthew Higgins as the new Club Secretary.
Matthew brings a wealth of experience to the Exiles, having spent time at various clubs, including Portsmouth, Exeter City, and AFC Bournemouth. Matthew also spent a two-year period working for the English FA at Wembley Stadium. His final position prior to arriving at Rodney Parade was that of Academy Secretary at neighbouring Swansea City.
The role forms a key part of the off-field team at Newport County, and he will have close working relationships across all areas of the club including James Rowberry and the rest of the football staff.
