Newport County manager Graham Coughlan reveals it's been a positive week around the club going into Saturday's game at home to Doncaster.
The club are on a high after last Friday night's dramatic late win at Crewe Alexandra, as the Exiles recovered from going a goal down to win 2-1 thanks to goals from Cameron Norman and Offrande Zanzala's 85th-minute winner.
"It's been a really positive week and when you win games of football, the atmosphere is so much better," gaffer Graham Coughlan said in his pre-Doncaster presser.
"The fact that we've come from behind, we've showed character.
"It was a real test of character because it was the first time we've been behind [at half-time] since I've been in charge. I knew they'd react but I didn't know they'd react so well - Crewe are a really good, technical team.
"The way we ran over them, the way we played and passed the ball, got down the sides, we put balls in the boxes, we knocked it down for second balls.
"I thought it was really, really positive - a really professional and powerful display, but don't underestimate they way the boys moved the ball and played football in the second half.
"I loved the way the boys were switching play, rolling it out wide and combining on the outside to put balls in the box. It was really encouraging and all I ask for them is to keep those standards."
Attention now turns to the weekend's hosting of Doncaster, who will also provide a "tough test."
"Doncaster are a really good team, a technical team," Coughlan continued.
"They've lost their last two but they're a technical team who like passing the ball through the zones in midfield - it's their DNA and philosophy at the club.
"It will be a tough test, they've got some really good players and they've got a new manager who's recently come in as well so it'll be a tough afternoon."
