Following the first visit at the EFL League Two fixture against Colchester in October the club received a mark of 8 out of 10. We have also risen in the League Two standings to 4th place and are in 26th place for the whole of the EFL.
Quotes from the report include:
“For several seasons now Newport County (AFC) has been a centre of family excellence. This first assessment of the 2022/23 season shows them to be on top form again with evidence of the club not standing still.”
“Magic moments were created with players being interviewed by children and staying after for photos and autographs.”
“We felt connected to the club as a result (mainly) of the marquee experience. I believe this is the heart of what the club offers fans.”
"The club have really put the effort in to creating a great experience for families and children. This is building a great culture and create a strong fan base with the future fans.”
The whole club are proud of this achievement and would like to thank all the staff, supporters and volunteers that have made this happen once again.
We all look forward to welcoming you back at Rodney Parade for our holiday fixtures against Leyton Orient (December 30) and Crawley Town (January 2).
