Dragons Rugby and Newport County AFC will join together in paying tribute to those lives lost in the Covid-19 pandemic by lighting up Rodney Parade.
The tribute, which will take place on Tuesday 23rd March, will form part of a day of reflection to mark the anniversary of the UK's first lockdown.
Rodney Parade will be one of a number of buildings and landmarks which will be lit up to join in the tribute.
Newport's Civic Centre clock tower will also light up in yellow following a request from local residents who are members of Covid-19 Families Wales, a group that supports those who have lost loved ones in the pandemic.
Dragons Rugby and Newport County AFC supporters can participate in remembering loved ones by putting yellow hearts in windows, yellow lights in windows, lighting candles and joining in a minute's silence at mid-day and 9pm.
